Road Construction Projects
INDOT’s State Road 15 and 120 improvement project is underway. This project will impact traffic in Bristol until summer 2027. The project scope is depicted in the graphic below. The required utility relocation for the project begins mid-April 2025. Throughout the project timeline increased traffic congestion will be experienced on all state roads entering Bristol. We will provide updated information on this webpage as it becomes available. A quicker source of information will be on the Town’s phone app. Search for Our Town Bristol Indiana, download the app and sign in. It’s a free service and will provide you with the most recent and up to date construction information.

Division Street Bridge
Tentative opening is set for November 4, with continued flagging of traffic while construction is completed.
Bridge is open to pedestrian traffic this Saturday for Truck and Treat in Congdon Park
St Joe Street
Reith Riley continued work this week on finalizing concrete work and work on the street berm areas. Rain delayed work this week.
SR 15 south of Town.
Work continues on two projects in the area around CR 10. Expect some delay and traffic congestion for another week.
🚨 Bridge Access for First Responders
We are working to coordinate both bridge-impacting projects to minimize closures. First responders will be able to cross the bridge during construction but must check in regularly with the project foreman for access updates.
🏙️ Support Downtown Businesses
Thousands enjoyed the Homecoming Festival and Corndog Festival, walking several blocks to reach Congdon Park. Let’s continue that spirit—please support our local businesses by walking a short distance through the construction zones. Your support matters!
